About: Katie is a Board Registered Acupuncturist with the CTCMA. She graduated with her Doctor of Chinese Medicine in 2012 from Pacific Rim College and began her practice here in Victoria. Over her years she has developed a keen interest and passion for women’s hormonal health and gastrointestinal conditions. Katie has extensive studies and training in these areas providing her with a deep toolkit from which to offer patients a thorough & personalized treatment strategy.

Although Katie is able to treat a wide range of both acute and chronic conditions, she has a clinical focus on Digestive Health as well as Female Hormones.

Some of the common conditions/symptoms Katie treats in practice include mood & energy problems, hormonal imbalances (PMS, peri/post-menopausal difficulties, fibroids, cysts, endometriosis, PCOS, menstrual irregularities, etc.), gut-related problems (reflux, gas, bloating, infections, IBS, IBD, etc.), chronic headaches/migraines & food sensitivities. She approaches each patient’s health with a personalized, evidence-based, and compassionate strategy that seeks to identify & treat the root-cause.
