Our Team  Dr. Marita Schauch, BSc, ND

Dr. Marita Schauch obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree with Distinction in Biology at the University of Victoria. She subsequently moved to Toronto to study for four years at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she obtained her Doctorate. In her clinical year, Dr. Schauch worked at the Sherbourne Health Center; a community health clinic based in Toronto, and provided naturopathic care to people living with AIDS.
With her passion for health and wellness, Dr. Schauch returned to her hometown and joined a family practice with special interests that include: women’s health, weight management, fatigue, endocrine imbalances, pediatrics, digestion disorders, cardiovascular disease, allergies, enhancing the immune system and detoxification. Dr. Schauch believes that optimal wellness is achieved by identifying the fundamental cause of disease through individualized patient care. By removing physical, mental or emotional barriers to health, Dr. Schauch believes that this goal can be achieved.
Dr. Schauch is a member of the British Columbia Naturopathic Association (BCNA), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia (CNPBC). Dr. Schauch is also board certified in chelation/IV therapies, acupuncture and prolotherapy.
